Usage

The purpose of this tool is analogous with that of a Geiger counter. While the former measures the count of ionising particles passing through the sensor tube - radioactivity, the cryptoactivity counter measures activity on selected cryptocurrency markets giving auditory feedback on each trade made, which allows for retaining the awareness of the ongoing price action without the need for constant chart observation.

The tool has following functions:

• market selector allows for selecting cryptocurrency markets divided by exchanges they belong to,
• button functions are for starting multiple counters at once, based on the favourite market list, and to clear the active counters, resulting in stopping the counter entirely,
• the tone and volume faders gives the possibility of shaping the auditory feedback signal to suit the user needs,
• favourite markets expandable panel provides a way to manage the list of markets for the "start favourite counters" button,
• the scrolling transaction window shows the time, market, volume, action and price of each transaction received from the exchange websocket stream,

The last part, the market statistics, shows the transaction count of last minute, last five minutes and last ten minutes of the given market and allows for selecting the market as favourite - adding or removing it from the list of favourite markets by clicking the adjacent star icon.
